One of the biggest drawbacks of the iPad is that it does not offer true multitasking capabilities, which is what we really need in a fast paced life. The reason why the iPad is blocking its users with such features is that the device battery. Hardware itself is more than strong enough to support the feature, but Apple seems to be willing to extend the functionality beyond just a simple application launcher. Really, iOS 5 is near identical on both the iPhone and iPad, but then so are Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The fundamental difference, of course, between the tablet and the smartphone screen real estate. iOS is great for cell phones, do not misunderstand. But for a tablet, it's just an insult to modern humans. If you want to be able to do more with your mobile device, then you should know that the iPad is very easy to become bored and dissatisfied with the limitations. Still though, for certain people, will be welcomed and embraced simplicity.

Anyway, back to what's important. Clear majority of Android tablets on the market today offer dual-core vague, and will soon have a quad core processor as standard fare. It gives them more than enough power to handle multitasking with ease. The latest build of Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 (like its predecessor, Android 3.2 Honeycomb) affords users the ability to access the multitasking panel with just one tap, so you can access recently used applications, and cover them with a simple flick of a finger.
